PrinterCUB Intelligent Printing Suggests Cost Savings to Users

by: Kier Morrison | in: BEAR News, Blogs, From BEAR, Product News/Updates | on: 04/08/2010

With the deployment of PrinterCUB we are aiming to provide some new innovations to the Print Management market.

We are very proud of the advanced print control with PrinterCUB called Transform. He is an interesting use.

Lets say you operate a student or general public printing environment where users pay for printing. Each user generally will be have a declining balance (count down to $0.00) to pay for their transactions. Here is where PrinterCUB provides helpful information to users. Once the user has sent their print document to the print queues PrinterCUB via its Transform feature can return a range of finishing options to the user showing the cost associated with those options.

If the user has insufficient balance PrinterCUB Transform can offer printing alternatives to the user allowing them to reduce their document cost. Options include the removal of colour (the document is printed in greyscale) or duplex (double side) printing of the document.
